# Crew Builder

{% hint style="success" %}
The Crew Builder module operates in real-time, enabling you collaboratively build crews for deployment with members at other levels of the organisation.
{% endhint %}

The Crew Builder module allows users with permission, to create, view and edit all aspects of Crew Deployments.

This includes viewing crew availability at relevant levels such as brigade, group and district levels.

Approval may optionally be granted at brigade level for member availability.

Complete crews can be constructed in the crew builder, ensuring relevant skills, qualifications and endorsements are observed for various roles alongside appliance allocation.

Review the [permissions](/platform/permissions-scheme.md) documentation to understand the various permission limitations on the Crew Builder module.
